Summer Stitching List
Who doesn’t love a list? I’ve shared many ways to make lists for your hobbies, but one of my favourite things to do is make a seasonal list, especially for cross stitch and reading. One of my top posts is all about how to make a Summer reading list.
But for this list I recommend something a little different to before and that is to go big with what you put on here. Let yourself dream and browse and make the list as big as you want – even if you know you won’t actually get everything on it finished.
Doing this lets you see what you’re drawn to at this time of year and what you actually enjoy stitching (the design and colours have a huge impact in how much we enjoy what we’re stitching which I talk about in this episode).
And it also is something you can look back on next year. In 2026 when you decide to make another Summer stitching list you can look at the one you make this year and see what you didn’t get finished (or even started) and it will help remind you about forgotten projects.
So look on Etsy, look through your own stash, have a browse on Pinterest and make your 2025 Summer stitching list.
Summer Stitching Challenge
Another reason I want you to make a big Summer stitching list? Because in July I am hosting a Summer stitching challenge and a part of that challenge will be narrowing down your list for the rest of the season.
I love hosting challenges and this one will run right on the podcast/here on the blog. But you can also sign up to get email reminders each day and a link to join an online meet-up at the end of the challenge.
