My next SAL is here! The Fantasy Fairytale Stitch-a-Long will run throughout the month of July and I can’t wait!
You can purchase just the PDF pattern which will be emailed to you throughout the month of July (every other day starting the 1st) or get the full cross stitch kit plus extras!
Please note: if you would like to receive the pattern to an email address different to the one used for ordering then please leave a note at the checkout.
If you would like even more details about this SAL then head over to this blog post.
The design for this SAL comes in 2 palettes; night and day. The 2 palettes also have slightly different patterns, but the overall designs are similar.
The day palette is full of light, pastel colours and the night is more deep and dark. This design is made to fit into an 8-inch hoop for framing so one is included in the kit. If you know you would prefer to frame it differently and you don’t need a hoop just let me know and I can make you a custom kit.
No matter which option you pick below you will receive both designs/palettes in PDF form via the emails you receive. You only need to choose between the 2 if you are buying a kit.. or not actually as you can buy a bundle of both kits too!
What your Fantasy Fairytale Cross Stitch Kit includes:
The standard cross stitch kit includes:
- Both PDF patterns emailed to you
- White, Zweigart 16 count aida or 32 count evenweave (10 x 10 inches)
- An 8-inch hoop
- Your DMC threads; at least 16 different colours (including the new glitter threads), all pre-cut and sorted (different colours depending on which palette you choose)
- Cross stitch needles
- A needle threader
You can also make your kit deluxe! This will include everything in the standard kit plus:
- A “Once Upon a Time” needle minder
- A “Hand Maker” pencil
- A cotton drawstring bag either pink or red or both (depending on your choice of palette/kit)
- A pair of gold, stork embroidery scissors.
You can buy some of these supplies separately if you don’t want them all. Just head over to our supplies section and they will be added to your kit.
You can also choose to bundle the 2 palettes together and save £5! This comes with 2 standard kits, or you can choose to have 2 standard kits plus extras (1 pair of scissors, 1 pencil, 2 bags, 2 minders).
Is this Cross Stitch Kit for a beginner?
This kit has a bit of backstitching in and some half stitches, so complete beginners may find it a small challenge. But I will be in the Facebook group every day answering questions and I will do some video tutorials throughout the SAL too. I also have tutorials on the blog for how to cross stitch.
This is currently a pre-order. The kits will start to ship at the end of May and this is when you will receive your first email with the supplies you need if you don’t buy a kit. Then you will start receiving the pattern 1st July 2019.
