The Halloween Cross Stitch Along details

We start stitching on the 2nd July 2021 and finish on 22nd October 2021.

If stitched on 32 count evenweave (which I recommend) this design measures around 10 x 19 inches.

We are making a long, vertical banner but I am also going to show you how to jazz it up with tassels and fairy lights at the end.

The threads

The design uses 24 different DMC colours but some of these colours will need more than 1 skein. I share the amounts inside the SAL.

We use lots of neon colours in this SAL and glow in the dark which I love using!

If you don’t like the colours I’ve selected there is also 20 free colour palettes as a bonus inside the SAL to help you pick your own colours if you prefer.

The fabric

For this SAL you will need a piece of 32 count evenweave and some interfacing to iron on the back when you are finished. If you would prefer you can also get extra backing fabric but I like to leave mine as is so the banner flows nicely.

The patterns

The pattern is released monthly via a platform called Teachable. The layout inside works great for SALs and all of the parts of the pattern are in the same place for you!

It’s quite simple to use, you just need to create an account and log in each week to either download the pattern or read it right inside Teachable.

The pattern will be made live every first Friday of the month at around 10am GMT. It’s split into small manageable parts and is a full-colour pattern with symbols.

FAQs about the Haunted Halloween SAL

What is a Stitch-a-Long?

A stitch-a-long is an event where we all stitch the same pattern together over a set number of weeks for a certain length of time. So for the Haunted Halloween SAL we are stitching together for around 4 months.

I go into more detail on this blog post if you need any more details on how SALs work.

What do you get in this SAL?

This is a fully digital product and the PDF patterns will be released monthly starting Friday 2nd July 2021 and there will be a list of the supplies you need once you’re inside plus links of where you can buy them.

You will get a video walkthrough of the pattern each week and lots of hints and tips to help you along, plus the free Facebook group which is so supportive and helpful.

You also get a bonus mini-course on how to stitch on evenweave, plus 2X Q&A calls in the middle and at the end of the SAL.

Is the Haunted Halloween SAL for a beginner?

This one is a slightly more complicated design than I usually offer as I know you want to test your cross stitch skills out with a harder pattern.

But I do love including tutorials inside my SALs so that you are never stuck. You even get an extra mini course with this SAL showing you how to stitch on evenweave.

If you are a total beginner you may find it harder than others, but it will still be possible for you to stitch.

Can I see the SAL before I buy it?

If you would like to see the full design before you purchase just get in touch and I can show you, but I do ask that you keep it to yourself for those who like the mystery element. Just email hannah@hannahhandmakes.com or scroll to the bottom of the sales page for a peek.

When do we start stitching?

We start stitching on Friday 2nd July for 4 months.

How does the ordering process work?

Once you click to join, you will be taken to checkout at Teachable, where the SAL is hosted.

Please note, some countries and states will have extra Tax/VAT added on for digital download laws and state taxes.

You can then choose to pay via credit card or PayPal. The SAL is priced in $ but your payment provider will convert it for you if you are paying in a different currency.

You can also make an account with Teachable, you just need your name and email and then you can set a password later. This is how you can log in and access your SAL whenever you want.

I can’t wait to see you inside for another fabulous stitch along!

This is not just another cross stitch pattern! It’s 4 months of spooky, surprise stitching, a supportive community, bonus tutorials, pep talks, live calls and so much more.
